[Closed] Is anyone, or does anyone know, any retired elite athletes?

I have a friend who is conducting a high level, long term study on the transition of elite athletes to 'normal' life after they retire and is looking for willing subjects. Any sport, but must have competed at least at national level. Can anyone help?
