I recently got a new battery in my ipod (2 gen) and the ithlete software too. I'd heard the former sucks amps but have not noticed this in use, however the battry does drain when the ipod is not in use (full in about 48hrs)
Dodgey battery or software issue? I've uninstalled the app as a test - the battery was off ebay so I suspect that's the issue.
