have a couple of ipods that are synched witht he old laptop that is no longer working that weel, have downloaded itunes for new laptop but to sync with that one i have to erase the contents of the ipods.
Is there anyway to sync it with the new laptop to avoid loosing everything on them?

Not 100%, but I'm pretty sure that if you set to manually sync music and video then there should be no problem. That what I did with mine when I got my Mini, and I've not had any issues with my old iPod Classic.

Had the same problem myself when I thumped my old laptop,Google free software to copy ipod,you can then plug ipod into new pc and upload it into itunes,
