Ive just got a new mac book and i want to put the music from my ipod on to it, i have authorized the mac book with the ipod, but now im stuck.....

afaik you can't transfer [i]from[/i] iPod [i]to[/i] computer

you can.
google "ipod to computer mac"
theres so much online to help you do it. Go to www.ilounge.com and they'll be a plethora of articels and advice on how to do it.
