[Closed] Ipod - Help please !

My 11 year old bought himself an Ipod last year with his Christmas and Birthday money. I set it up for him on my laptop initialy but then also set it up on our 'home' laptop. My laptop has his initial music, most of which was from CD's and some from ITunes. Our home laptop is the one he now uses so that ITunes on that one is sync'ed currently with his Ipod. I have just bought myself an Ipod and before I mess everything up, wanted to check a few things.

How do I change the name of my sons Ipod ? for some reason I put my name on it, probably as I was using my email address at the time ?

With my new Ipod can I go onto our 'home' laptop and transfer the music onto my new Ipod ?

If so, can I then transfer the music off my laptop also if I disable the 'Auto Sync' first ?

My sons ITunes account is linked to both laptops and I dont want him spending my balance, and Vice Versa so want to set up my own Itunes account, can I simply change it on mine or do I need to uninstall it and re install it ?

Why at 41 years of age do I suddenly feel so out of my depth 😳
