I've got an elderly 6s Plus 32GB which is giving me near constant "storage full" messages.
Roughly 1/3 the storage is taken up with photos. This I understand
Another 40% is system and apps. (unused apps are offloaded)
Then there's 9GB of "other" (caches, logs and other resources apparently). Is there a way to minimise this? I've cleared my bowser history which made sod all difference other than deleting my downloaded Kindle books which I discovered shortly after the start of a mobile signal free train journey...
(Incidentally one thing that is getting on my chest - I delete a load of photos. Empty the deleted images folder. Restart the phone. And have less storage than before I deleted the pics. WTF????)
