Hi All
Has anyone successfully bought a replacement iPhone 5 battery??
Other than going through Apple and losing my phone for a week and costing £50+, are there any reputable online sellers?
All I have seen get horrendous reviews with outrageous capacity claims that I don't trust.
So has anyone had any luck?? Cheers
Two year warranty with Apple, is it not covered?
I used a local 'we repair iphones' place with my 4.
Cost me £30 and they had the phone for an hour.
I took mine to a local phone repair shop, cost me £35. Works fine, get the same battery life as I did from the old one.
mine (100% genuine replacement OEM fakery off fleabay) is too recent to actual say, but battery life seems pretty good if not a little better than the original. But @ £8 with free delivery it's so cheap I bought 2 just in case.
Ooo, never thought of the warranty. I have read that its for 12 Months, then another 12 months covered by the seller. Apple in this case. I'll give them a call. Cheers.
I don't really want to leave my phone with one of those @phone repair shops'. I have too much work (yes, real work!) related data on there and simply don't trust them. Nor do I know what battery they are fitting.
That's why I was wondering if anyone had managed to buy a decent battery online. I've changed other batteries and screens myself so will be able to do the job.

That'll be 3 hours for me then!!
