Just bought a second hand iPhone 4, but the wifi doesn't work, not even the icon!! Is it a ios7 hiccup??

Try doing a network settings reset in the settings app, failing that a full restore

Is the date and time set right because mine didn't wort when the time date was wrong

Is the wifi greyed out or just crap signal?

My old iP4 picks up wifi no problem, it even picks up the wifi from a couple of nearby buildings where I work.
Running iOS 7.0.6 (11B651).
