The headphone jack on my Iphone is not working. There are plenty of repair services listed in Google but can anyone actually recommend a company for me?

Nah dont do it as a living, bit of a side line, its not a hard job, tbh you could do it yourself, though its awkward as you have to fold the ribbon perfectly. If you were doing it yourself you could buy a new rear case with the ribbon in situ. The ribbon does vibrate, headphones volume and power all one spaghetti nightmare.
Thanks for the offer/info wysiwyg. Change of plan though, I'm in Edinburgh at the weekend and can get it done while I wait.
