Mme Moonteresse bought an iPad 2 for me in the states last year. She installed her ID do download some apps. I opened my own iTunes account, but cannot get past her ID request that allows me access.
Can I go to Settings - General - Reset - Rest All Settings to remover her ID or should I just Erase all content and settings and start .
I really only use it for surfing the web and emails so there is very little else on it.

Yes - If you do a factory reset it will then be blank. When you start it will ask for an Apple ID. You can enter yours and it will sync with all of your stuff.

Note to self - NEVER reset anything without noting beforehand all passwords.
