bee / honeycomb C – it’s like an old fashioned dingbat in its logic. Don’t focus on the honeycomb or colour of the C

and some miss-pronunciation !

Harpo is one. Nothing to do with Marx, but consider it the other way round.

Harpo on the blackboard looks like it should be one

The crow - add an 'e'
Sale label - what's another word for the cost of something?
Glass of milk - part of the horseshoe and bridle clue.
Wasps - what do wasps do?
Robin with a bluebeard - No idea.
Harpo on the blackboard looks like it should be one - It is, but it's backwards.

Robin with a bluebeard - suranem is when it's very very dark and pretty windy
Blue Slippers - Or would you actually wear them outdoors, but maybe not when it rains!

Currently at 53 and starting to struggle but good fun!

Got to 70 and now stumped. Obvious clues I cannot decipher include
1. Black Jack (spades)
2. The blue Cocktail (but could be red herring)
3. Candle in bowl (also dubious)
4. Ear-heart
5. Fire detector/sprinkler?
6. Blue breasted bird
7. Red lightening bolt
8. USA sign

Other possibles ... cat by the fire, wooden duck at back, various beer mats/signs, and some strange white marks on the ceiling???

Not sure candle in the bowl is one. It's from the real photo rather than added, reflections are too good.

1. Black Jack (spades)

Flip it.

The red spotted bluetail (small bird) is a poor clue.

For ornithological accuracy is should be all brown and perhaps singing very nicely.

2. the blue cocktail - nope its not a herring

Goose on floor is a very young one

Seagull might help if you say it quickly on a boat under attack

8. USA sign

1. flip it

2. the colour is irrelevant

3. don't think it's a clue

4. that's the surname

5. not sure that's a clue?

6. the colour is irrelevant - think of another songbird

7. it's makeup

8. which film is this?

Is fox M on bar tap one?

yep.

1) try switching round your own description.
4) Exactly. Put it together...
6) think of various types of bird. Another clue above helped me.
7) looks like Ziggy to me.
8) USA or a great American sign?

Edit- I should have refreshed the page before posting...

69

stuck on:

french horn
house wine (looks like a photoshop so assume it's a clue)
two hats is killing me - I definitely "know" it
something sitting by the fire ? (but nothign I've tried works)
shark blackboard
milk/bridle/...
I reckon 16oz is proabbly a clue but can't think of any more related people after 2 guesses
the dog (I assume it's the breed but I've run out of guesses)
apple
USA

1 other I can't even see as clue

Annoyances:
The small bird one is stoopid - or else I am.  Can't see a justification for that "beard" at all.  It's like they couldn't find a proper image
(glass panel top left - Aaaaargh, it's the creator, a bit like the broom clue)
