[Closed] Internet tracking..

Been playing around with the excellent mozilla add-on 'collusion' for a few days now. It follows tracking cookies, linking up sites in a graphical form so you can easily see just which sites are passing your data around, and to who/whome.

'Amazing' is the only word for it.

A simple look at an online tv listing for example linked me to about thirty sites. A google search on homophobic religions submitted my details to an untold number of sites including the Southern Poverty Law Center (whoever they are), even though I didnt visit any of the google results.

Sites constantly refering back to photo hosting sites too.. all a bit big brother.

Well worth a try.
