It's OK. Google (DNS) came to the rescue.

Just fine thanks.
Anyway it's back up and running now so I will know what people are having for lunch. Thank god.
On BT here, was hoping to get the livestream for the MotoGP race, but it's not streaming.Looks like I'll have to go out for a rainsoaked bike ride now..
My plusnet went away last weekend, back mid-Monday, down yer in Wessex. I assumed something big needed changing at BT, looks like it's yours turns this weekend.
Nah! Only out for 3 hours.
All seems to be working in the People's Republic of Wessex, Wiltshire division.
It's back working now, just watched a excellent 600 race from Assen.
Now it's time to get out on the road bike..
Internet dead?
Is it me or is it slightly ironic to post on a web forum that the internet isn't working ?
dammmit! And now a power spike has just fried my Xbox PSU brick!
It's just been on the radio news. BT fault, patchy but UK wide.
Unfortunately I cant find a way of doing it on chrome running on a PC.
That's because it won't in Chrome, but your system networking settings. On Mac you can go to System Preferences -> Network -> Advanced -> DNS and set your DNS servers there.
Can't comment on Windows, but I'm sure someone knows how to do it.
BT apologise but ofer no reason or compo
According to BT and not the BBC they are investigating. Compo for a 3 hour outage, hahahaha!
Three hours for some, thee days for others, and not for the first time. If ICBA to add up over a year, it might be worth asking. It's not yet as bad as VM was, though.
The people who have had 3 days is due to cable theft so probably a different issue. I'm sure they'll probably offer something there.
