I've just been talking to the vicar that married us in 2008. Now apparently over Chrismas there was an alternative version of the nativity on one of the channels. I was only vaguely aware of it.
He told us a national newspaper had contacted him and asked him if he would like to comment on his 'outrage' at this programme. He responded that he'd not seen it so couldn't comment. They said it was ok as they would write the copy and he could put his name to it. Being an honest man he declined.
That astounded me did that, although I expect I shouldnt really be surprised
