...that you have no reason to believe aren't true...:

-Heinz, in an initiative driven by government/health etc are slowly changing the salt content of their beans, month by month, to bring it much lower. Too fast, and Joe Public would obviously know from the taste.

Does anyone have, say, a series of Heinz Bean tins from the last 12 months they could report on the salt content for us?

That all (well except American) paper sizes are based on the square root of 2, a surprisingly interesting read here

I found out that there is a listed putting green on a rooftop in That London's Famous City of London.

It's listed! Awesome! And I don't even like golf!

DrP that is rather interesting. We have some tins of beans from about 6 months ago in the cupboard, ever since we learned they were off the iDiet. I'll buy some more today and see if there's a difference.

Bimbler, I knew that. Golden rectangle innit.

What can I say, my life is empty apart from STW and my kids.

*not having worked with kids and never having had a pet I'm not used to faeces in the house

If you're taking Benadryl (the blue Acrivastine one), you're not allowed to drink grapefruit juice.

If your door lock looks like this then I can probably break into your house silently and in seconds using just a screw driver and some molgrips.

Get one of these or similar and I can't.

I could probably break in with some tape and a hammer easily enough too.

Really where? I know there is a lawn on top of the Soc Gen building, I seem to recollect it has been used for croquet but may be wrong.

I read that in 1940 we (brits) sunk a whole load of french warships to stop zee germans getting them. the surprising thing - is that there were french sailors still on the them at the time and we killed 1000+ of them.

the french PM then wanted to declare war on us.

mon deui!

The collective noun for chimpanzees is a cartload, the mental image it conjures causes me to smile uncontrollably.
