I am running Intel dual core processors with 8gb of RAM for a computer to run FEA simulations in CATIA.
I have done some research and the intel Math Kernel Library is supposed to offer up to 30% increase in speed in calculations but I have found some conflicting information as to whether it is effective on dual core processors. Does anyone know much about this?! Cheers

The dual cores are effectively independent apart from sharing memory so it should still apply
