[Closed] Integrated appliance door fitting query

Mrs Carlos is looking to get an integrated freezer fitted within a spare cupboard in the kitchen. I'm pretty sure it'll fit width, depth and height wise (although not measured very carefully at this stage) as its a full height carcass and its the same height and depth as the cipboard the integrated fridge is in.

Question is will I be able to directly fit the existing cupboard door to the integrated freezer or will I

have

to use a sliding hinge kit?

I think I'm right in saying I can, and the best and most sensible thing to do would be match the height of the freezer unit to the door

Can anyone offer any clarity?

Cheers

If it's a new freezer, it should come with a sliding hinge kit. They're quite easy to retrofit to your existing cupboard door, obviously you leave the existing hinges on.

Not sure it's vital to match the height of the appliance to the cupboard - you'll just get a gap above the top if it's shorter. Won't affect the sliding hinge placement.

Thanks Martin, I don't want to have to use the sliding hinge kit though. I want the appliance door to be fixed to the kitchen cupboard door (same as a dishwasher door front would be)
