is insuring a private car for 4 people easy or an expensive faff?
better for 1 person to own it, and then have the others as named drivers?
the other people aren't related to me, and are non-uk nationals.

Just have them as named drivers , insurance doesnt care
Non uk nationals will be an issue unless they have a uk licence youll pay through the nose and itll be an expensive faff

I have me, my wife, my father and two random people from my work on one of my cars - was not too expensive and easy to sort.

just tell the lady who answers the phone you want an any driver policy,and if its for buisness use or private and pleasure
