Well I am with M&S but due to a claim last year, my MTB was stolen from the locked garage they will onl;y insure me up to 1k for a 3.5k bike.
So looking on money super market I have the following insurers:

Anyone with any opinions about them? all will cover bike up to the vaulue I want but what about other things.
If you’re using an aggregate site just keep an eye on the excess. They tend to add a large voluntary excess on top of the standard excess. Other than that generally the only way you’ll find out is claim time.
Try Sainsbury's. They let you add bikes as specified items. 2 payouts in 8 months, dreading next premium though.
