Went to add a new bike to my Sainsbury's contents insurance. Renewal in March was £150ish, 3 bikes over £1000 named. It seems any change to increase value (by £1) or add a bike results in £4,000 premium.
Obviously I'll phone them up and \or cancel but beware!

Try Barclays. Thankfully never had to use mine but they were far cheaper than anyone else.
