Has anyone experienced this and if so, do you get a penalty free cancellation period?

I read it was two weeks somewhere but would like to know of real world experiences. It's m&s home insurance in particular if that helps.

Yes, yes.

Sure it's 2 weeks it tells you on the renewal notice.

Hi Onza

The insurer still still write to you prior to renewal (usually min 28 days before) stating the renewal premium etc and that if they do not hear fro you they will automatically renew the cover.

You do have a 14 day cooling off period in which to cancel.

Cheers

Cheers folks. Why couldn't m&s leave things as they were? Been busy this week pricing up our bikes and trying to find alternatives.

If we've got 2 weeks to cancel, it takes the pressure off a bit.
