It is a nice film, but is anyone going to help the OP?

(This is a mixture of altruism and self interest as I am planning a similar thing in the next few weeks)

Specifically I am wanting to install a wood burner of about 6Kw into the coach house my wife uses to paint and restore furniture.

1. Do I have to use an (expensive) fixed flue or will a flue liner be OK?

2 What are the building regs about this sort of thing?

3, I've not done this before, how do you go through the roof? Metal plate in place of one of the tiles?

Any help would be appreciated

Cheers
AL

Here's how I did it, NB, I'm no expert and hate spending money on stuff I can make myself. It works well.

Guys,
Thanks all for your helpful posts. That Vid is great and quite inspiring, lots of ideas for my workshop in that alone, which at the moment is just an empty shed.

Good links too.
Thanks all.
