A mate has bought a stove and I'm going to help him install it.
Have been looking at various flue flashings and wondered how much of a gap should be left around the twinwall flue where it exits through the roof?
The roof is pitched and think it has felt type tiles so which flashing should be used and anything else needed?
Thanks
at least two inches clearance. Silicone flashings with a formable aluminium lip would probably work the best.
these guys have good stuff
and there's always good info here:

We call what stoner is referring to as decktights. Used a lot on factories for any cut outs through cladding.
Decktights are what you wear under your deck skirt when sailing.
What grannyring needs is a Dektite 😉
For combustible clearances, check the last number in the chimneys designation string. Most often 50mm, but does vary.
The clearance to combustibles from an insulated pipe will be written on its label, the last 2 digits of the designation. The most common is 50mm but some require greater.
In a log cabin the clearance from the flue is the least of your worries 😉
LOL.
Thanks guys will have a look at the info and pass it on.
Had a quick look and not sure which flashing is best for a pitched felted roof?
