£50 on something you'd normally walk past in a shop/supermarket without even considering it because it seems so expensive for what it is (wine, food, treat etc).

£40 on a surprise gift for a loved one.

£10 to the next homeless person you pass.

Like your idea Peterfile, though it's technically birthday money, so spending it on the Mrs would be a bit odd! And I would probably sooner donate to charity than give it to the homeless direct.

Go somewhere.

Have a night away somewhere nice, in a nice hotel. Or go for a fortnight away, somewhere just outside of Hull.

Weekend away is tempting, but fitting it in is tricky at the moment.

Go mental here:

Bike related - go have a go in a velodrome if you never have.

Lego Technic (and Creator, and Star Wars) is very much on the list.

a rib eye steak

Go and sit in the corner and think about what you have just typed.

Sirloin, FFS. Men eat sirloin. Rare, as in not beyond the help of a good vet. Rib eye is for Americans.

Do a combo. Eg Technic Lego followed by a hull hooker.

Cap, you just made me giggle on a Tuesday morning. For this I thank you.

We've just bought a house in Hull, when we've finished sorting it out I don't plan on buying any more for quite some time! Booze is off the agenda as I don't drink, though meaty is definitely an option.

I did think about coaching, but I did a session at the start of summer and I kinda want to get everything I learned in that down in my head before I do any more, and I've not been out on the bike much ('cos of the house) this summer, so that's out for the moment.
