Ok i am a hillbilly and have suffered horse flys, Keilder midges, wasps...

Working outside at the weekend near a stream - flowing well no marshy gground and got bit three times on the wrist. Itch like midge bites?

Dont have a dog or cat and i live in a house which boil washes every last thing.

Any ideas?

Not Hogweed its close to us (about a mile away) not bedbugs i live in boil wash, Zoflora, bleach driven house - its a wonder i survive never mind a bed bug.

They are just like midge bites.

I think there are a few of the little fellas out and about already, I was attacked changing in the car park at Dyfi yesterday afternoon, only one bite but it definitely felt like a midge bite... and lots of flying beasties on my Saturday ride too...

It may be fairly obvious, but it’s been very mild lately and there are insects about, including bees. There are more than likely insects that bite to take advantage of mammals with a blood supply.
