She's had various health problems since our first kid 7 years ago - nothing serious but she's had terrible trouble with energy and the ability to exercise. And of course kids don't help.

A few weeks ago she did 15 minutes on my rollers, and it tired her out; the other day she was in there for an hour ๐Ÿ˜ฏ which is not bad going.

Today we went on an MTB ride just the two of us, for the first time in 7 years. She absolutely battered herself getting up the big climb - more than I would have done, and fell off twice too, but kept on at it. I'm right proud ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks folks ๐Ÿ™‚ Now she just needs some more modern forks for her now quite old MTB. She doesn't know this, but I do.

Think I'll have them powder coated to match the frame too ๐Ÿ™‚

That's plucky. Nothing better than a wife with shared interests.

BTW At first I thought she'd hacked your computer... ๐Ÿ™‚

I hope at some point you told her to get a grips.

(Oh, and nice story. Honestly. Hope you both enjoy a summer of dusty trails ๐Ÿ™‚ )

Actually she has tried it a few times - didn't work well for her at all. Now we just try and keep GI down.

Brilliant. Was expecting sappy post but that is most excellent. A long as she didn't speed up the hill!

brilliant. If she ever looks like flagging consider the electric bike route to keep her enthusiasm. Apparently women don't have the same 'need' for exercise as us men so important to keep it fun and keep her remembering the 'rush' she gets from exercise.

Tell her 'well done' from me! 8)

And while you're at it, ask if you can go with me early tomorrow morning... ๐Ÿ˜›
