So I’ve slowly been getting sucked into Witcher 3 on the PS4 but having played 1 & 2 on the PC (and various other RPG’s) I much prefer playing on that - I’m a mouse and keyboard kind of guy. Plus babybgoode hogs my PS4 so I’d get more game time on it.

So the question is - do I bite the bullet and scrap my progress (I’m only level 5 so far) and buy it for the pc or stick it out on the I on PS4 setting as I’ve made some progress and already paid for it once already?

Really pleased that’s your only life decision.

Let go of what was, and embrace the new, after all, who gets a second go at things, with greater wisdom the 2nd time around ?

Lvl 5 sounds like very early doors so I wouldn't be concerned about that.

I love the story, characters and open world of W3 - but combat is a bit of a joke tbh, it's very easy. So I don't think it really matters gameplay wise how you control the game PC versus console.

Yeah if you're only level 5 I'd say switch to PC. The performance and graphics are much nicer on there too!

The life decision should be finding something more worthwhile to do with your time that waste it playing computer games. You won't look back when you are older and be glad that you spent 10,000 hours getting to level 200 on a compute game.

I'd scrap the PS4 saves and go for the PC. Level 5 is not very high and I reckon you'd get back to there pretty quickly having already done it once. I recently got it in the Steam sale and am up to level 14 on a PC, getting pretty fed up with some of the cut scenes and dialogue though so I'm not sure I'll make it up to the level 30 or so some of the quests need.

Thanks all. I think I’ll scrap the PS4 save and just go for it. It’ll take me a good couple of months to get back to where I’m at but hey, progress will likely be Witcher than on the PS4.

Rest assured to those who took the thread title a little seriously I game very little, have a half a dozen or so other hobbies of far more ‘merit’ and only game when babybgoode is in bed, out or likewise playing Fortnite.

FYI you encounter way more interesting trolls in the game than this

Those that know me on here know I’ve faced more than my fair share of really horrific life decisions and events already so it’s nice that this is the hardest choice I’ve had to make for some years :).
