having spent the evening trawling through the dot gov dot uk website with regards to importing stuff from the US and trying to find the commodity codes, anybody able to help classify stuff from [url=www.revelatedesigns.com]here[/url]

Your link is either spurious or broken.
Simple Import Duty is you need to pay it.
(((Cost + Shipping)*Import Duty Rate)*VAT Rate)+Handling Fee
Unless you can't get it in the UK probably easiest to shop local.
