NOOOOOoooooo! You were supposed to keep the letter confidential! 😯

I think you might have blown it. 😳

Jeesh, so just because you share his name you're entitled to access to his accounts.
I'd question the validity of the banks security.

In fact, that's the route to go down - tell him you're not really John, but JOAN. You had you dingle dangle cut off about 18 months ago, and now have a lovely pair of jubbers in replacement.
See if this'll complicate matters??

I would go along with it but after the Dah Sing Bank have made the payments to you don't give him half.

He sounds greedy to me wanting 50%.

The Chinese name does not match up. i.e. that is not the way to pronounce that particular Chinese name.

That's strange. Mr Cao sent me a letter this morning too. What's his game then. I don't think I trust him.

Tell him that it is a very attractive offer, but your security procedures require him to make a PayPal Gift payment of £10,000 to verify his identity

Too late, I've now changed my name to Mr John Grainger and written back to him.

(A nice man in Nigeria helped with the name change in exchange for some banking info)

Woah there cowboys!

I am the real John Grainger and I would like to bring you all up to speed on that mainland China accident. It was the other driver that died and I have been in a coma for the last year.
As soon as I get out of these restraints, that thieving toerag Cai Goa is going to get such a slap.
Meanwhile, keep your hot little hands of my cash.

'Just delete your spam. It is tedious'

It wasn't spam, it came through the letterbox via the postman.

Tell him you're actually the Mr John Grainger and you survived the accident but were in a coma for 10 years and are only just recovering your memory.
