Got called out at 11am just back now after a very sweaty 6hrs in full PPE, tried to post on here a while back but it crashed? I also managed to rake my right shin open 🙁

I have 3 litres of vintage cider in the fridge I think its around 7% so I expect to be shitfaced in a few hours as I'm off call till Tuesday.
Got a Chicken Fajita stir fry to cook but that could go horribly wrong given the cider.

Good luck Drac

I’m sitting on my balcony over looking the salford quays. Shit not having a garden, but the balcony is in the sun all day and have put all the cushions and blankets down to make it comfortable.

Attic room, big veluxes open, just eaten burgers my butcher made this morning and with a lot of Polish lager and amps and guitars I can see it being a happy evening.

In the garden!

Been there all day, if the weather carries on like this, I'll look like some old wrinkly from Benidorm...

Actually feel guilty about saying where the lager was brewed. Now feel a bit dirty. I shall avoid mentioning the roots of the music I tend to play as I can’t handle the cultural appropriation shit.

In bed with a chest infection and drinking water whilst listening to a playlist of stuff I’ve not heard before. Would love to be sat in the garden or kayaks hammock with a beer.

Next to the fire pit watching the sun set on the hills opposite having spent all day cleaning and sprucing up the garden. Just the right temp for the fire pit, were 1150 ft above sea level so not as warm as some other parts. No breeze, perfect.

Modern canning of beer has come a long way, unlike the beer which was brewed 7 Mike's away last week

In the kitchen, cup of green tea, back from a touch over an hour on the gravel bike, enjoying the live stream of Runrig's 'The Last Dance' farewell concert from a couple of years back.

I shall avoid mentioning the roots of the music I tend to play as I can’t handle the cultural appropriation shit.

Anyone who cares about music doesn’t care about the cultural appropriation shit! Cultures have been appropriating each other’s music for generations, otherwise you wouldn’t have bands like Tinariwen, Tuareg desert nomads playing blues-influenced music, or The Hu, Mongolian throat-singing heavy metal, just two examples I can think of.
Anyone whining about ‘cultural appropriation’ is, I feel, the sort of person who also whines about cover versions.

Should be able to triangulate TJ’s position from that photo and then send police around to break up the roof garden party! 😉

Derbyshire Brewing Company Bear IPA. Not sure what I will have next.

In the garden, poking the last warmth out of the BBQ, drinking Innis & Gunn passion fruit IPA.

Out of a can. Even though I agree it's wrong.

Sat on my front garden path nattering with my youngest sat about 3m away in the front door, she did her reading and eventually she ended up just playing her switch whilst I sat there till we both got too cold as it got dark. Strange days.

Finished tonight's BBQ and decided not to waste the remains of the nicely lit charcoal and logs. So popped tomorrow's dinner on to colour. It's now sat in the slow cooker and I'm trying to decide whether to leave it on overnight.

If you don’t think I was joking after the threads about ‘Romanians are having a BBQ next to my house’ or all the other intolerance comments the I apologise for my shit sense of humour.
