How well will you do on [url= http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-24836917 ]this test[/url]?
A paltry 4 out of 9 for me. Interesting stuff and generally quite encouraging answers (except the renewable energy one).

Question 2 of 9, they have Europe going all the way across Asia! I think that makes me less ignorant than whoever set the test!

7/9 although helped by positive spin in the intro - hence went for more solar power than is correct. Got the map wrong as well, as overestimated Africa's population and went for c.

I got the first 3 wrong and gave up. Plus, I don't know who measures it, but there is no way 80% of the world is literate. When I lived in India only 47 of people there were literate, so I would have thought that on its own would almost account for the 20% in the statistic.
