Bandcamp is a good source of good laidback hiphop reworkings. Bancamp search::-
Cosmic Compilations
Jazz Jousters
Vanilla
Wun Two
Kista & Glad2Mecha
Jenova 7
Fanu & Bill Laswell
Homecut
Awon
Anti-Lilly & Phonics
Akua Naru

Metaform seems to have a breakbeat dance feel.
Some DJ Shadow is quite similar. Maybe try DRS.

Hope some of these are useful. I might have to look out for Nujabes and Metaform now.

Only lsitened to Nujabes.

Try Nightmares on wax and Prefuse 73. Been around for a while (I guess Nujabes had aswell); I'm not that clued up on music from the last few years.

That music map is really good...like it a lot.

Not on the exact same lines but have you checked out Mount Kimbie? Really underrated IMHO, both albums are cracking. Bit of a curve ball, bat can't recommend them enough:

There's a new album, just out which may sit well with your slight jazz (nice) inclinations: THEESatisfaction - EarthEE
Worth a go I reckon.
