No I honestly was curious, I'd assumed the cold would kill the germs.
no it just slows down their reproduction, hence food still goes off bt keep for longer
what about a freezer at -19c or an oven at 200c?

Why not go for the old classic of a kipper down the radiator? Or crimp one out in the stationary cupboard if your really angry?

Sorry not just been made redundant and the question stems from when I was at the fridge before and I had to turn away to cough. Simple as that really.
