I ordered two light blue bottle cages and this is what arrived:

Anyone have an idea? it splits in half one half is harder the other is slightly rubbery....

No idea what it is but nothing on a bike can be "too light".

Yeah we thought that, but the top comes off really easily, was thinking could be for cooking eggs...

You thread them on a length of rope and pop them up your bottom.
