I was cleaning up around our shed over the weekend and found a strange metal pipe sticking out of the ground. I've no idea what it's for and appears to be rock solid - I couldn't move it at all, so I'm guessing quite well buried.
I've only recently moved in and the neighbours have no ideas what it might be for. Any ideas?

Cast iron down pipe from guttering. Probably worth something to the right buyer.
That's a pretty decent looking Belfast sink, too, very popular these days.
