Started on this yesterday, is whey Protein in water allowed post-ride?

No dairy so I guess whey is out.
I've heard of them adding flouride to the water, but whey protein?

Putting aside the yays or nays for a second, why would one want whey protein after a ride? You doing bicep curls at the same time?

I think it is. Especially post-ride - insulin is your friend post-ride.
Although I don't think just a protein scoop will do you any favours post ride.
Add to some milk and fruit... chuck in a blender... voila... beefcake.
Or just take the protein and go for Double Depletion by training again later in the day to maximise your bodies fat burning potential?
