I hope to see something like that in my lifetime, but I’m not sure I will, it only seems the nutty right wingers in government and wide eyed romantics in the public sector who seem to want to explore space. Truthfully I don’t believe there’s much practical point going back to the moon accept for a stop on the way to mars and really putting a man on Mars is a bit of a folly, why go to all the trouble for a human to hold a tool that can be mounted on a robot.
Hopefully you will be around when they do land on the moon ( it hasn't happened yet )

Flown on Concorde. Just missed out even when they were upgrading business class flyers on the return leg for free.
Actually I wish I could have FLOWN Concorde, but a serious eye defect put paid to any flying career from aged 4.
