Nothing wrong with a pair of slippers, especially if you've got wood floors everywhere!

I've been wearing Toms for the last couple of years. Very comfy and not too slipper-ish.

and damn the lot of you!

I tried some silly expensive Celtic sheepskin things for a very short while. Short because the bastards fell apart in about a year.

I like crocs. there. I said it.

Wood floors here, and in Reef Phantoms all year round! 😀

Matt, MrsCFH has the "outdoor" version of those, and adores them. Especially on ski trips. Off slopes, in to comfy warmth!

At home, however, she's in her Havianas this evening. 🙂

Stoner, you're dead to me.

Mm,n Currently wearing some leather Nike sandals as I have killed my last pair of slippers, might give some Crocs a go.
Used to wear them in Oz for work and were surprisingly hard-wearing whilst being comfortable.

Fur lined crocs and wearing flip flops indoors. The human race really is going to hell in a hand-cart. I despair sometimes, I really do.

Winningest so far.

A slipper should be easily slipped on without the need for fingering the back over you heel so to speak.
It also needs to be fur lined, just because.

I'm with Binners on the crocs. Liner washable, warm, pretty hard wearing, kids don't laugh, wife doesn't borrow. That last point makes them good enough for me.

Binners? Eh?

🙂

Anyway, Mahabis - a company so far up its slipper-shod arse they make Rapha sound down to earth.

Aye, sorry Stoner.

No, the kids don't laugh. They just wear their own.

No, the kids don't laugh.

Then they need to learn some social skills. You can start with "Thou shalt laugh at anyone with a double digit age wearing crocs of any form.*"

*If fur-lined, thou shalt also poke them with a stick.

Seems fair.

These are the absolute business.

Dead warm, but with no bagginess or sloppiness.

Nimble.

You can do all sorts in these, climb steep alpine chalet stair/ladders, via feratta, cat bugling, the lot.

Or Just Sit About in them.

Our house is tiled, floors are cold, and socks would be a weekly purchase without slippers.

I'm trying to wear out a pair mother bought me that I found in the loft currently, but planning on some nice moccasins for the winter, suede probably.

I'm 27.

Honestly - I think M&S trumps all the bollocks on here

Get yerself married and a pair will arrive annually thereafter, via the MiL

Camper, they are ace got them over 2 years ago no sign of wearing out. Comfy, warm, decent sole and you can slip them on no handed but they dont feel like they are going to kill you when running downstairs
