I have an old S2 which I reset and started using again earlier this week.ย  ย The AccuWeather app on the home page did not have any locations set, then today I unlocked the phone and it was showing me the weather for Moscow!

Sure you're not a sleeper agent and that was the 'awaken' code?

Could be.ย  I'll decline though as it didn't look very warm over there.

It's going to be using IP address geolocation so perhaps your phone had been hacked to route everything though a transparent proxy which happens to be in Russia.

You could try going to one ofย  those websites that report your location,

Are you using Tor? Or have a proxy of some sort?

Does it do it on both Wi-Fi and the cellular network?

If on Wi-Fi you might find some IT kit in your house has been infected and is now part of a Russian bot network.

I live near David Icke.

He is my constant source of advice in matters such as these. I'll ask him about your phone later.

This.ย  Seriously, it's a possibility.

On your browser (both on phone and computer) go toย  https://www.iplocation.net/
