Does anyone know much about video files on the i-phone? Really wanna fine out if divx vids be downloaded from a site and then converted to be dropped into itunes?
yes they can be converted and watched on the iphone (one of the reason I've bought one), can't remeber what the software I've used is, but there a few different one out there that do it.
try 'Videora iPhone 3G' converter. It's a free download but you need to be connected to the internet while it's open and they stream adverts to generate revenue. It works well and has both the advanced setting and the "what's going on, press here for full auto" settings.
I've used it quite a bit and it seems to do most file types.
