Trying to download updated version , had to reset password . Can access Apple account using new password but won't accept same password to do update any ideas ?

Sign out of iCloud on iPad, maybe restart, sign back in again?
Jambalaya I Pad pass code is what it's asking for , I've tried the codes on the router , nothing . Tried upper case lower case I'm giving up tonight try again tomorrow .

is it just the screen unlock code? I just did mine and as it doesn't leave the home we dont put a passcode on it but after the update finished it tried to impose one one me.
Passcode is numbers not letter.
It's the one you use to unlock your iPad.
Post it on here, we'll let you know if it works.

Unless OP enabled the settings option to allow complex pass codes (unlikely but possible).
