sorry if I'm being lazy .. the missus loves her TV but we keep costs down and don't subscribe to sky etc . Without me trawling the net for info can anyone please explain in simple terms whether if I buy a Kodi box will we have access to a lot more content and is it all easy to set up etc + how risky is accessing all the illegal streaming I've heard about? Other ideas for boxes and kit would be great
thanks in advance
Bill

All the dodgy streaming services are slowly being cut off, according to the tech websites. So chances are if it does work, it won't soon.

Freeview and Freesat are free (subject to TV licence of course).

A Roku stick is pretty good. We have one and jump between Netflix, Amazon and Now TV depending on what's worth watching at the time. Each service is only about a fiver a month. There's also about four billion free channels, most of which are insane

A "mate" was selling android boxes about 18 months ago. They've all but been shut down now. He's had a fair amount of shit over it especially from people who've only recently invested in them...

Chromecast dongle/mobile apps interface.

Showbox for free stuff.

Avast VPN/laptop if you're abroad and want UK catch up.
