What do I need to use --- normal screws and rawlplugs ... or something else ?
Personally I would mount wooden battening along the wall first with expanding bolts then screw hooks or whatever into the wood.
Makes moving or adding hooks a lot easier.
Btw Sussex bungeroush ?
A quick Google has answered my question. We don't build using that method in Worthing hehe !
If fixing into the brick then use thunderbolts.

Depends on the brick. Some are too hard. You also need to be well away from the edge.
