Yes, really enjoyed that when I first saw it. However, don't know if you remember the Heineken advert with the walk in fridge.. this is another one that didn't make it out the country but is even better... yes, I'm Dutch.

😀

I wonder how many takes to get the right reaction from the kid at the end though?

(BTW it reminds me of a holiday a couple of years ago where we had a remote to open the gates to the apartment. Our friend's daughter truly believed she was making the gates open by magic)

The Hamlet ads were great too. Always looked forward to the next one.

I knew it would be this ad. Note how the UK TV version only has the alarm beeping and not the engine starting.

Does anyone ever recall the Heineken one from years ago - the Aborigine throwing boomerangs but none coming back? They split it into parts so the first bit was at the beginning of the break and all you saw was the guy throwing the boomerangs - no branding or anything; then another ad played and it went back to him throwing again; then another ad; then back to him and he sits down and takes a sip of beer and they all come back at once.

Pretty ground-breaking for its time.

Can see the youtube links, but from the posts i know which ad it is. I assume someone has linked to the Thor one, which I think is better! 🙂

I remember that Heineken ad with the boomerangs, funniest ad ever. but I only ever saw it once spread out over about ten ad breaks, over a whole evenings tv.I was frightened to turn over cos I wanted to know what was going on.

Can I give a little vote for the current Birds Eye ones with the sinister talking polar bear?

They confuse me slightly, seems to be a really good advery wasted on a totally un-interesting product.

this one is an all time great, now who here hasn't wanted to do this to someone they work with? Honestly?

Edit - Makes it even better that they called the CEO Ron Felcher.

Maybe I'm just easily pleased but I loved this one... Based of course on Honda's Cog

And I hope whoever came up with this one got a nice bonus

But there's millions of good adverts isn't there. Anything from Specsavers recently... (including sponsoring football referees)
