I'm in the market for a T5 as a weekend surf / bike / festival wagon (yeah, I know the stereotype) and this popped up not a million miles from me.  It seems cheap for what it is, suspicion raising cheap.  I know the saying "if it's too good to be true then it usually is" but what's STW's collective thoughts?  What's the scam here?

"fullly inculcation" ??

Maybe this is code for 'contains poltergeist'?

Has to be worth a look at this price. I certainly wouldn't hit 'Buy it now' without taking it round the block, with a priest and a vile of holy water.

Is it, or has it ever been, Irish?

No harm messaging and asking for better photos and the reg no to check the mot history - if you don’t get an answer then you know the score - I certainly wouldn’t buy on that ad!!

Why no overall views of the van?  I'll bet its got damage you won't spot till you view it.

Isn't the Irish thing a way of clocking vehicles?  Or cloning?

I'm sure if they think you may be interested they will supply registration, then run every check under the sun on it before viewing?

I believe so. I don't remember the details but when it is imported there is no record of whatever has happened prior to the import.

Get the reg for an MOT history check. If its local you could go have a look at it.

Neither of those cost any money.

Some people are scammers, some people are just rubbish at selling things, I have got a few decent things cheap from some really bad adverts.

You really cant see anything in the pictures, it could be all ripply/no panel aligned. You really would not think it would be that hard to take a picture from each side, front and back to see the whole van!

Rear interior carpeted and flocked is a really easy cheap way to hide shitloads of damage.
