Think I've still got the spanner bit some where too! What was the bit that the chain tool screwed through for?

The black sleeve is a socket to tighten crank bolts on square taper set ups I seem to remember.
Still have a complete one in my desk at school for impromptu student bike repairs.
Still use mine, it's the perfect tool for a Brompton.
Mine is in the saddle bag of my road bike. It's missing the big allen key sleeve thing & the pouch though. It does everything a new one does, so what's not to like.

You could be quids in with that.
£80 for a rather tatty looking one also missing one allen key and the bag.
All you need to find now is a pair of white Porcs and a bnib Tioga disc drive and you can retire
I always lusted after the completely unnecessary and mythical titanium version but I did have an original from the early 90’s, I bought it in Dales bike shop in Glasgow back in 1992 when I picked up my Marin Pine Mountain, the one with the flouro lettering.
I left the tool halfway up Screel hill nr Auchencairn here in Galloway after repairing my chain.
Bugger…..but by the late 90’s there were so many better options available.

My wife gave me one as a wedding present 26 years ago, still have it but the steel bits have rust spots and the bag is worn through. Design classic if a little redundant these days. Would anyone pay £80 though seems a stretch!
I still got a Raleigh multi spanner.
It's in the spanner box and still used on wheel hub tightnings. Because is so narrow 🙂

Having seen the price on ebay (and the sold prices), I may not have it for much longer.
Bought one at Covent Garden Cycles after they sold a Girvin Flex Stem for me.

I've still got the two Allen keys. No idea what happened to the rest of it though.

Still got mine all intact as well, classic bit of kit. Tagged on a small Allen key for spd adjustment when I turned clipless to make it perfect in its time.
Another who still has one. I've also still got one of those Muddy Fox handlebar pouches that were designed for twin stems. It was only in the last couple of years that I saw on the label it was made by karrimor
