Thanks to the fragrance thread recently I decided I needed a couple of fresh, summery scents for the nice weather. I opened a bloody Pandora’s box though!!! Between various stores I have just spent a ton of cash on Creed Himalaya (loved it too much), Acqua di Gio EDP, Mont Blanc Explorer and Ultra Blue and Prada Luna Rossa Ocean. Not a single one I didn’t love when tried on my skin, especially the Acqua di Gio

Good for you. It’s a great thing to invest in. And you get to enjoy it every day for months, years even. Good idea buying a few too, means you won’t get used to one and become ‘nose blind’ to it, falling into the trap of over-applying.

*whatever advertising guy came up with ‘nose blind’ was a goddam genius.

We have two new kittens in the house. I’m glad nose blindness was invented.
What spendy fragrance for stinking cat litter tray?

Where does one go to try out a great range of non pretentious, metro sexual scents?

The Perfume Shop will also sell you a 10ml travel bottle filled with something to test longer term for £10. That’s what made me buy a 100ml bottle of the Prada Ocean

Neither did I...
Good idea though as you can buy a few without breaking the bank...

And also it's difficult to test in the shop as once you've smelled one or two it's a bit of a sensory overload so it's hard to choose a preference.
