I just almost spat my lunch at the screen while laughing at that link.

Can you imagine what the audience will look like/be comprised of?

Wouldn't Kerry Katona be the perfect person to play the oxygen thief formerly known as Jade Goody?

"Jade was just an ordinary girl and the person who plays her will reflect that"

And then the person who played Jade Goody in the musical "Jade Goody" will be famous, so they will be able to appear on Celebrity Big Brother. But while they are in the Big Brother House they will need someone else to play the role on stage, so we will be able to have a TV show, probably judged by the winner of last year's Big Brother, Derek Draper and Jordan, in which members of the public compete for the chance to understudy the part of Jade in the musical.

The possiblity that all human existance is rapidly accelerating towards an infinitely small point will then be a terrifying reality.

i'd say its conclusive proof of an expanding universe actually.

clearly intelligence is finite and therefore becoming somewhat thinly spread

No time for her but one day her kids will be old enough to use google and have to see all this archived vitriol. Lets just ignore anything about her.

avdave2, I'm more concerned about the fact that I'm living in a society that thinks it is ok to produce entertainment about somebody like her, who used her actual death as entertainment, who think it is acceptable to make a musical out of it. Don't you think that is rather disturbing?

I don't want everyone to be watching opera and reading greek classics, but there has to be a point where people say no, thats really as low as we can go.

I may be misquoting but 'religion is the opiate of the masses' seems to have become 'reality TV has become the opium etc'. Don't worry that the country is screwed, over 2 million people out of work, industry collapsed, at least I can afford a huge flat screen tv to watch.......celebrities working in a kitchen.

Takes deep breath.

Agree with you totally Idle John, I just think she represents the symptom not the cause. Attacking her and your shooting the messenger. There is nothing particularly offensive in this thread but it won't be too much of a surprise if someone changes that. Attack the culture by all means that's a fair target. I once did a conference with Peter Bazalgette, I really wanted to ask if he appreciated the irony in the fact that his grandfather had made his name from pumping the shit out of our houses while he was making his from pumping it all back in again. Thought our client wouldn't really appreciate that though so I refrained.
