...in an industrial flight simulator.

Tremendous fun. Take off from Gatwick tour of London and return. Managed to successfully take-off, circuit and land without crashing. Accidentally landed at Dunsfold rather than Gatwick, but managed to stop before the end of the runway (-after some skidding) and certainly no worse than many Ryanair flights I've had.... Not sure I'd have enough space to get airborne again.

The response of the simulator on a hard landing was brilliant. MUST do it again. 😀

Would that not be classed as a leisure trip and thus be fine anyway?

What shape was the Earth from up there?

Most envious BTW. Was it all in realtime?

I prefer a seat in front of the pilot.

(Not always while wearing Spesh 2F0s, I hasten to add.)

*Thinks* I'm sure I've seen a 747 at Dunsfold on the telly.
That wasn't you as well was it?

Yup, all in realtime, Eddy.

CFH. I'll finally get to try this in January. Really looking forward to it.

The father in law used to run the lynx simulator for the navy, had a couple of goes in it, pretty impressive when you lose control and go into a crash

Imma give this a whirl at some point in the not very distant future...

Should've asked them to simulate the Dunsfold runway as a treadmill, then you could easily have taken of again.

Don’t be ridiculous.

You’d need a conveyor belt.
