So, these nice people found a baby bunny all alone and rather than leave it to die, they took it home, kept it warm and fed it for a week till it was ready to brave the big wide world all on its own

(apologies if it's been done but couldn't find anything....)

why not? It's nature in action! I would *love* to see the likes of that happen - not for the bunny aspect, but for the other aspect. (no spoilers)

Nowt wrong with that. If the cute little bunny had got away, would the raptors chicks have died.

No chance that can be dressed up as nature in action.

That wouldn't have got nearly 12m views if it wasn't for the little girl content; excitedly watching what her family had nurtured being released back into the wild, and then being 'killed' in front of her eyes.

Meh,..I'm not being precious; just don't like it myself.

I guess the bird was just doing what it had to do.

I wonder at folk who think it's funny though.

Bet it would taste better with some pastry on top of it. ๐Ÿ˜€

When I saw it in their hands, I thought they'd just successfully raised a cat treat. Wasn't expecting the bird though!

Ruby and Tak disapprove.

Though, quite frankly it would take a damn big hawk to carry these two off [must reduce nuggets/day].

Why x 4:
Take it from the wild?
Feed it at home for a week (vet/animal shelter?)
Release it in your backyard (not the place you found it)
Upload the film

Doh!

I laughed ๐Ÿ™

...I do wonder if this is going to be the same as that baby who was taken off by a golden eagle.

I chuckled.. It's a stark, almost gallows type of humour I guess but as a sketch it's got all the en vogue ingredients..

reality tv
drenched in irony
shock factor
comic timing
and even a lesson in interfering with nature

a perfect gag...
poor bunny

I can't believe this is creating a debate. It was funny, it wasn't funny depending on your view, why care what anyone else thought .

For the record, i thought it was funny ๐Ÿ™‚ does that make me a bad person ? Thought not.

If you can't laugh in the face of death then you may as well give up now, a bit of gallows humour is healthy. Natures cruel, no matter how tough a person you might be.... if you're in the wrong place at the wrong time you're going to get it.

People need to accept death instead of trying to hide from it.

I'm afraid I laughed. The rabbit dying isn't particularly funny but the circumstances are.

It's just a single rabbit. 200,000 chickens will die tomorrow. But they won't make me laugh.
